My father, who is currently posted in Canada has paid my GIC funds from TD bank on 24sept. We were told by our immigration lawyer that it is possible to send funds within Canada.The funds got deducted on the same day, but I still haven't received any update or confirmation, can you please help me.
I have opened my GIC account in Scotia Bank.

But you need to ask that to the bank and not us, I mean they can give you the correct info. We can only guess. It should have been done by now, for CIBC it took 3 days

Yes, I just confirmed that it would not get processed, so I have to do it the other way
