It’s compulsory that my address in gic account should match with bank address ?
I can write my gic account address in beneficiary address column
Is that right thing to do?

Scotia Bank has clearly mentioned on their website that the sender's account number should match due to security concerns... Changing bank account address is not a hefty task... Just give instructions to your bank and they will process it instantly

Can u provide that link which they have stated about address?
Doesn't matter if your address is different in your bank from the one used in GIC application you have to change that you can fill the form with an address that is not under your name at the bank there isn't an easier way to do this like just put in the address you used in the GIC in the form this will be rejected by your local bank before scotia does it
