GIC - WIRE TRANSFER FORM 15CA 15 CB

Hello friends,

I am going for a wire transfer from my Citibank savings account to the scotiabank investment account.., will i require a FORM 15CA 15 CB.As per one of the bank guys they asked for it (not sure of their understanding of gic though). Kindly reply if anyone has done the same using citibank.

Hey Bro, 15CA and 15CB are the form that indicate that money is used for educational purpose and made it tax free.Every bank asked for this form...

Arvind, it is just #formailties.. this form is filled in income tax webpage(India) in your PAN card account in which you showing all the details of of your GIC fee & tuition fee and CA will stamp on it..

@satvir .., so i will have to fill 15CA online and get the 15CB stamped by a chartered accountant ..thanks.
