GIC payment

What is the exact procedure to pay GIC ?
I mean i have apply for GIC through GIC site with my basic information.After that they have activated my scotiabank email service, asked me to wire transfer money to scotiabank.

But in forum i have read somewhere that we need to submit application form with passport scan copy and LOA from college.In my case they dint asked for it.

I am confused now kindly help me out with this.

Actly thats the older way, they recently updated their system. Now its more faster as compared to the last one in which you was suppose to make a whole pdf file with GIC form,offer letter and passport and email them.
