Getting work permit from India

Hi all,
Recently I heard from one visa consultant that he can provide LMIA and close work permit for me and open work permit for my spouse with in 5 months from India itself on some charges bassis. Can any one tell me is it possible? I am very confussed to take further step. Please guide!!

Sounds like a scam. Have you paid any money? Who is the employer that has an approved LMIA? What is the job and is it skilled? Do you have employment letters, ECA and IELTS if required? If not skilled, spouse not eligible for work permit.

Either a scam or illegal activity. Paying for a job in Canada is not legal. It does happen unfortunately but nobody should be paying tens of thousands of dollars for a job in Canada and a consultant can not guarantee a WP. If you get caught paying for a job that will have serious longterm consequences.
