My wife and I are planning to apply for CEC or BCPNP after increasing our CRSs through work experience in Canada.
Hypothetically, if my wife gets a job as an administrative assistant without being qualified, would she still be able to claim points on skilled work experience?
She has a Bachelor in Social sciences with no experience as an administrative assistant.
Therefore, according to the NOC description she’s unqualified for this job.However, some companies offer a position without prior experience or related certifications.

- Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is required.
