Getting PR while doing PhD (F1 VISA) in US

Hello,

I'm on an F1 VISA doing my PhD in USA. Can I apply for a Canada PR now, and once approved, land in Canada for few days and return to the US to finish my PhD. Once my PhD is over, I can move back to Canada.

Any information will be appreciated. Thanks !

Of course you can. Living proof here. The only caveat is that currently EE-FSW draws appear to have been suspended.

Depends on the length of your program. PR status has a residency requirements. You must live in Canada for 2 out of every 5 rolling years. Provided you can do that, no issues.
