My husband worked in Indonesia for a year (June 2008 - June 2009). He has to submit a PCC from Indonesia (I think it's called Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian (SKCK)).
I've asked Indonesian Embassy where we live and Canadian Embassy in Jakarta, but they have no idea. Do you know any law firms/ agencies that can help us with this? We're contacting a few places now, but your advice and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
In case we can't get the certificate, I think we should try to submit a letter explaining why and show proof of our efforts to get it. Still, there's no guarantee it will be accepted. Should I just wait until, say May 2019, to apply again (so he doesn't need to submit the Indonesian PCC)? But then you never know if the policies will change, or we may not be invited again. (Our current CRS score is 462).
