Getting passport back ASAP-Is it possible to ask them to rush? (Singapore)

Hi,
I am assuming you cannot ask the embassy to hurry in returning your passport? My husband will be in Thailand and his flight will be 2 weeks plus 3 days after he sends his passport to singapore for his visa.

I have the feeling that any visa office will not listen to such request.

Looks like the officers have a time of their own so when they ask for the passport, you must put your travel plans on hold until such time that they decide to send it back to you
