Hi, I'm a Canadian who just married a Nepali woman in Nepal after dating for 1 year and 8 months.
Do I send sponsorship, work permit and visit visa all together? I think it takes 1 year for the sponsorship but how long will the work permit and visit visa take?

If she is in Nepal, then you can either sponsor her outland, which means she remains in Nepal. You can be either in Nepal or in Canada (if you are a Canadian citizen). With an outland sponsorship, she cannot get an open work permit.

She could also apply for a TRV (a visitor's visa) to visit Canada. To get one, she will need to show proof of ties to Nepal, such as a letter from her boss giving her time off.

If she gets a TRV, and comes to Canada, you can then apply to sponsor her either outland or inland. If you sponsor her outland, she can remain as a visitor in Canada while the application is being processed. She can apply to extend her stay about one month before the visitor visa expires.

If you sponsor her inland, she has to stay in Canada for the length of processing. Inland usually takes longer than outland. However, with an inland application she can also apply for an open work permit.
