Getting Married while my Citizenship Application is in process

Hey guys!,

My citizenship application is currently being processed. I passed the background test but everything else is still in progress.
My partner and I are planning on getting married. My partner isn't Canadian or anything, but I'm just wondering since my marital status is changing while my application is being processed, will that affect it? I can't remember if I was asked about my marital status and I don't see an option to update any information in the tracker page.

You have to send a web form. I did get married when my application was in process and sent a web form in a week or two. I called IRCC, the agent said webform is the only way to update them. It was last May and still, my file says single. So go ahead and get married. Congratulations. Just update them so you have proof saying you did.
