I had my medical done and received by the CIC yesterday. Planning to add spouse in the application before decision has been made but somebody told me it's too late. Is there anyone know what is the income requirement to sponsor a spouse?

It is better to add your spouse before you become PR. Trust me, Spouse sponsorship is painful process.

See previous posts of user cm_nikki, http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/profiles/cn_nikki-u119956.html . It is not a difficult process to add your spouse right now.

When you get your PPR email, inform CPP-Ottawa that you're getting married in Jan. They will provide detailed steps on how to add your spouse.

So it not too late for me to add spouse yet? Thanks

Are you from exempt country? If yes, inform CPP-Ottawa immediately that you're getting married in Jan. If you're not from exempt country, PPR email will have questions whether you're married or will be marrying soon. You should respond truthfully. Your RPRF email also would have had these questions about marriage, childbirth etc.

Im from non exempt visa country. Do know how long is the process or delay when adding spouse in the application?

There are many cases - no case is unique. I hope it is not more than 2-3 months, as long as you submit all the documentation in one go and everything is in order.
