Just wondering,
Partner and I have submitted our outland sponsorship and have been thinking of getting married in January.
Initially we were going to wait until we got to Vancouver but figured we'll have a civil ceremony while we're here with his family and have the ceremony a year or so after he immigrates and we get settled.
Question is, will getting married delay the process? I would submit the marriage certificate asap but not sure how it will be on their end with there being a change in our status.
