I am from Chennai, India. I have received my COPR and I am supposed to land in Canada before November 20, 2019. But I am getting married and the process of registration has begun and I should get the marriage certificate in 3-4 weeks. I know that I am supposed to inform CIC once I get married and they will ask for some documents of my spouse.
I was planning to inform CIC after getting the marriage certificate. But since it is going to take a few weeks, should I inform CIC of my current status and tell them that I shall submit the certificate once I get it?
I am confused because if CIC immediately asks for the marriage certificate, I don't have it. And I am also anxious because I have to inform before November 20. I got only 3 months to inform and by the time, my spouse's profile gets processed, my medical will expire. Any suggestions?
