Hi, we've already applied outland (Vietnam, visa office Singapore) as common-law not long ago. What happens if we get married? How do we notify Singapore? Thx

That's all? Do they change the kind of application automatically?

They are not obligated to change your application from CL to married and can still process you as common-law. However they are obligated to consider your marriage certificate if you send it in as proof of your relationship.

If they were huge jerks they couldd ask you to reapply as married. More often though, they will consider this as more proof of a genuine relationship.

There is a piece about this is the manual that states this.
