getting engaged before landing....

If I go back home before landing and get engaged will I have to tell immigration during landing?I know engagement means nothing in for immigration purposes do they also ask you if you intend to get married?

Of course you intend to get married in the future, and that is your personal choice. Since you engagement has no official value, it won't matter toward your landing.
