hi all,seniors
i have applied trough an agent, lawyer.and got the AOR and the new file no in 04/09/2010.
since then nothing happened,i've been asking my lawyer about the case and he keep telling me to wait. and also i can not log in to E-Case,and my lawyer has no clue about it though.i have sent an email to CHC requesting logging details but not yet received any.

but now i am thinking to obtain a CAIPS note.
is it OK to apply for CAIPS notes my self, instead of getting it trough the lawyer.
please suggest

As per AOR means that they received your docs but not opened it yet, this is what I know, and it is indicated in there that one have to wait for atleast mos. I think CAIPS would be helpful once the application turns to IN PROCESS already.

It is indicated in 2nd AOR to wait for atleast 8 months.

my lawyer received letter stating "IN PROCESS"

You can order the CAIPS notes on your own, but if you do, you must make sure your lawyer gets a copy as he/she will be able to interpret the data and mark it in your file.

hi all
thank you very much

as i understand as long as you have file number you can know your status through E-Case.....
