Hi all,
I am currently a PR card holder through the Family class, I am sponsored by my fiance. I received this PR while living together at home in Ireland. We always planned to move back to Canada at the end of 2019 so I could meet my residency requirements and keep/renew my PR. But life, like usual, gets in the way and now it is likely we will stay in Ireland beyond the date where I can meet my residency requirement and I will eventually lose my PR.
What I need to know is what are the chances of getting a second family class sponsorship through my future wife (getting married in 3 weeks) if we decide in 1-2 or 3 years from now that we would like to move back to Canada?
How will the CIC treat a second PR application for a former holder who didn't meet the residency requirements entirely by choice?
Thanks,
IrishWally.
