Just wanted to have an idea, if it's possible to get a job in IT Systems Administrator/Engineer when you are not in Canada and don't have a valid visa.

Do the employers sponsor these kind of requests?

Probably not..there are lots of Canadians and PR's already here that can fill such jobs. Nevertheless it won't harm you to try..

No chance at all buddy. Canada will never give high-paying jobs to foreign professionals because of rampant discrimination.

Best advice? Stay where you are.

I am planning to apply for PR.. so wanted to have an idea.

I guess they will give high paying jobs to PRs, doesn't matter foreigners or residents.

Agree, when you get your paperwork done and move here permanently on PR status then you have a chance to compete for sure. As long as you have the relevant education + experience + excellent english + industry certifications relevant to your area of expertise you should be able to find a good job.

I wouldn't call it a "high paying job" though...average pay would describe it more accurately. A "high paying job" would either be an executive level job, or a highly specialized IT professional on a contract.
