Hi

I am planning to file for a federal skilled worker immigration for canada.
I have a masters degree in Economics from India ( under the education level of 10 +2+3+2 years study).
I wanted to know if this gives me 223 points for same .
Also do I need to get my degree certificate authorized from any other agency/ body ?
If so can anyone send me a link.
I am an NRI in Dubai, UAE

Hello,
You will need an ECA report from an authorized organization. Please look for "educational credentials assessment" throughout this forum and at the http://cic.gc.ca/ website.
For appropriate links please check the following documents (look up "educational" key words there):
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

If the recognized organization issues a report indicating that your education equals to a Canadian Master's degree then you will most likely get 23 points for that.
