Hi everybody, I'm going to apply for PR, non-express entry (based-paper), after being on a IEC visa. Because the processing times are too long, what happen if, while I'm waiting for a PR decision, I get pregnant? I will be on a BOWP and I'm already inland. Thanks!

When you say paper-based, I'm assuming you mean through a PNP program?

If you are on a BOWP and have job, then you should have no issues getting provincial health care coverage.

Thanks for your reply scylla. Yes, I'm going to go under PNP Program (Tech pilot-Skilled Worker). I have already my MSP card, that I got when I arrived under IEC visa, but not sure if it convers pregnancy, birth and maternity leave. I'm in BC btw.
