Get friend to courier PR card to India or wait?

I need to go to India asap i was going to see if I can give my friends address to mail the PR card there and he will courier it to me in india instead of waiting around 48 days more , anyone done this? Can we get PR card mailed wherever we want?

I've read different opinions on this (even on other forums): some say it's fine and some say it'll be confiscated (a friend of mine had it delivered to the UK about a year ago with no problems)

I got mine couried to me without any problem. I landed gave my friend's house address and return back to my country after some few days. When the PR card was ready I ask DHL to go for it for me and it arrived without any problem whatsoever.

Hi, I am also in similar situation now and wants to courier the PR card to India. Did you receive it safely ? which courier did you use ?
