Get CIC Correspondence letter with WRONG email address

I submitted my EE application on Aug 13 and received a email (my current email) saying that there is update on MyCIC account. I logged in and see a message request for Schedule 4 and Schedule 4a.

However in the correspondence letter (PDF format downloaded from MyCIC account) the email address column was not my current email, it was my previous agent's email address instead.

I had an agent who helped me to prepare CEC application last year (Nov 2014). But the application was returned because the cap was reached. And I believe that's why in the CIC database has his email under my application.

I just have concern that I may miss some information. Does any one have similar experience? Is there a way I can tell CIC to update that email?

You probably need to submit CSE to update your profile with the email address you would like to keep on file.

Another alternative to call CIC and get instruction from them on where to send the updates

Good luck as this is important for your PPR later, mine got it through my work email address, which I don't use for myCIC - was surprised to see this email coming through my work email which I guess was on records from before! I didn't bother changing it though, but I will do later especially if I will change my job 8)

I experienced the same thing. The letter requesting additional documents had my previous email on the top which I had used for my previous visa application. I had included my previous UCI number so that's how they have it on file. I don't know about the final passport request that is reportedly being sent to personal emails, but the document request letter was not sent to my old email. I just got the notification email sent to my EE-registered email.

I'm inland - CEC
