Generic Application Form For Canada imm 008 Question # 1 Confusion

Dear All,

I have got nomination from SINP under provincial Nominee / Family Class. I have a confusion while i was trying to fill out the subject online form and stuck at very first question.

If i chose "other" in question No.1 so can't chose "Provincial Nominee". If i chose "Economy Class" so i can't mention family class. I have received some instructions along with my approval letter that in the "Other" box, under "Category", please write "Provincial Nominee".

Please help me out what and how to over write on that form. Please advice me as i am needy of your valuable suggestions.

Zahid1978, In form 0008, number one question says " program under which u are applying" the answer is Economic, while in number two question which says, "Category under whuch u are applying" the answer is Provincial nominee. Because if u choose family on number one question ; is not going to give u the option of provincial nominee in number two question. Hope this help.

First of all, Congrats on getting nomination. Your PR application will fall under category of "PNP". "Family class" option is for Spouse visa. So you have to choose "Economy Class" for the 1st box & for 2nd, you'll choose "Provincial Nominee".

It really doesn't matter at CIO/VO stage that whether you got nomination under family stream or skilled worker stream because all categories are considered as PNP.

Country of residence. Saudi arabia.
ON,February 13,2012, i recived e.mail from cic London inquiry that my application can not meet requirements for immigration to canada because they requested some documents on November,14,2012,which to date i have not
send to them,while till today I have never recived documents request from them via e.mail or postal mail,so any member can please
help me now what to do? However i have send fax and E.mail to London office stating that I have not recived there documents request
via e.mail or Postal mail,one week passed still no reply, What I have to do now? :-\

Oh its too bad but don't worry they'll accept your clarification & will send you that document request once again. It has happened to so many forum members specially when each correspondence use to deliver via snail mail. While there are comparatively less cases where applicant didn't get any email.

May be previous one was delivered to some wrong address or to your Junk/Spam mail folder. Just to be on safe side why don't you add CHC,London email address in your contact/address list so that in future all emails are delivered directly to your inbox rather than Junk box.

Need to know one more thing.... As i am applying from Pakistan under Economic Class Category. What to write in IMM 008 Question No.4. I heard that all economic class cases are processed in UK London so should i write London Visa office or Islamabad-Pakistan office. Please advice.

Answer of Q.4 would be "London Visa Office" as it is clearly mentioned at CIC website.

Well I think at Provincial level these few small mistakes in Federal forms doesn't matters a lot but at CIO/VO level each & every mistake do matters.
