I got my notes today, and there is one point that I'm not sure I understand. I was hoping someone here with more experience could clarify. Here is the text:

This "Due Date", which is for next year, does it mean that my file will be looked at for Eligibility then and no sooner? That date is exactly one year after the SA (we received SA in Jan 8, 2014). Can anyone understand what this date means?

Also, it says the same thing for security and criminality, with the same due date.

Dear Avadava, I am not an expert on the interpretation of GCMS notes but am almost sure that your interpretation is incorrect. My guess is that the fact that your 'due date' falls on the anniversary of your SA is simply a coincidence. In my case the 'due date' was about 3 weeks after the anniversary of my medical and was the date when the validity of the medical ran out. In other words it was the date by which I had to land unless the validity of my medical were extended. WHY CIC adds a few weeks after the anniversary in calculating the 'due date' goodness only knows. Sure enough, when my COPR arrived, it required me to land by that due date. In your case you were required to submit to further medical tests in October and if one adds a few weeks to the anniversary of the remed date one reaches 8 January 2015 or thereabouts. Rather than being the date when further work will be carried out on your application, it is the very last date by which you must land unless the validity of your meds is extended. I think that in due course when you get your COPR you will find that the last possible landing date referred to in it is 8 January 2015 Kindest Regards Wowsers.

This is actually called your "bring forward date"

This is when the VO office should look at your file again if no action was taken up to that point. It's like a reminder that it's been sitting there and nothing has been done.

This is how it is for everyone and Hopefully they look at your file before then :)
