Congratulations. May I know what was the status of the application before you ordered GCMS notes? Did eligibility review start before you ordered the notes?

Hello there, @legalfalcon @legalfalconindia, I applied for my wife's TRV from Mumbai on December 27, 2020, and I'm still waiting to hear back from the embassy. I got GCMS notes, which said that the application was referred to CPC-O on October 26, 2021. OSC-CSU/CR
I'm not sure what it implies, or how much longer I'll have to wait for a decision. Could you please assist me?

Why should I reapply when the application is already submitted since 2020? I called the Immigration Office in Canada and they suggested that I do not reapply as the application is still under consideration because I might lose all the progress and will have to get in the queue all over again?
Because we are seeing many / most on the forum who reapply have their applications processed very quickly. Your choice of course.

Super visas are for parents. She will only qualify for a super visa if she has an adult child in Canada who is Canadian and is earning a high enough income to meet the income requirements.

You will have to apply again through the new portal if you do not want to wait. In the LoE when you submit the new application, you can mention about the existing application which may help you to get a refund.

I submitted my wife's visa application last week from India to come visit me in Canada on a visitor visa. I am a permanent resident in Canada, but the IRCC has refused the application saying the below:
"I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR)."
I am not sure why they refused the application when I attached the PR and my marriage certificate as well.
One thing to disclose, I wrongly put in the application the purpose of visit: To visit my spouse, common law partner, dependent child, parent, step-parent, guardian or tutor who is in Canada temporarily, such as an international student or temporary worker."
Instead of "To visit my spouse, common law partner, dependent child, parent, step-parent, guardian or tutor who is in Canadian Permanent Resident."
Do you think that could be the reason? Is there any way, I can appeal this decision and make sure they don't reject again? Or could there be any other reason why they rejected it?
I want to apply again but I also want to make sure that they don't reject it the second time. What do you suggest I should do?

Hi, I found this threadas I am in the same situation now. I applied for visitor visa for my mother and her GCMS notes says - 'File reviewed and referred to CPC-O due to outstanding Cost Recovery'. Could you please let me know what you did to resolve this? Really appreciatte it. Thanks
