I am sorry to inform you that nothing can be done to expedite it. I have been there since September 2017. I contacted a member of the Canadian Parliament twice, although CSIS did their part a year ago, I got the same answer in both times ,"Your background check is in progress, there is no time-frame, and nothing can be done to expedite it"

Anyone of you guys from Pakistan who is married plz let me clear one thing which makes me confusable. (because of PCC)
I am from Azad Kashmir and i got married from Peshawar my question is after marriage replacement of father name to Husband name and address is a legal practice in Pakistan so should i remain one address from Peshawar or both of mine?

Another one is, she is doing a job in Peshawar(another city) and her address on ID is my home address (husband address), in this case, is there is any problem when we are in SS?

It's not required, You don't have to change it. It's better to have Your and Her Address Same.

Hey Everyone I assume my husband's file is in security screening. We won appeal seotember 2017....everything went back to visa office overseas....since like July it has been in "security" . .. It's a long time so I assume it's SS. Today we received a medical request(our third one) Our other one expired 4 months ago. So you think this is a good sign that security might be finished

No we applied 2016...upfront medical. Refused because they did not thibk marriage was real. We appealed Won appeal and file reopened Oct 27. 2017...did forms again medical etc... And it's been in security since june/"July 2017.
