Does anyone know if apps are actually sent back to Mississauga to have eligibility approved?

Hi Everyone!
I ordered notes on our file, we are January 11 applicants New Delhi Visa Office. I think they are questioning our relationship so they put us in a queue for interview in May, this is what it says in the notes but we haven't been notified yet. I've seen other applicants go for interviews in June, why haven't they contacted us yet? We also got the letter in May saying they will process our file in June and contact us in August. This is so frustrating, if they want to interview us then do so, why make us wait!!!! Only after ordering notes we find out we are recommended for an interview and in queue since May. We have a representative so I wasn't able to link the file. Do you think its a good idea for me to see my MP? If anyone can please shed some light.......I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hello,

May I ask where in your notes it says that you are in queue for an interview? We applied on Jan 25 and only my criminality has been started. Security and Eligibility were not started as of 2 weeks ago.

Hello guys,
I received my notes few days back and under outgoing correspondence it says Multiple police certificate requested. Does this mean we have to provide them with more than one police certificate. We never received this correspondence. My wife has only lived in one country since the age of 18, she has travelled to UAE multiple times but everytime it was less than a month travel and even in total it isn't 6 months when I add them up.
So I'm just wondering do they actually need more than one police certificate. We have sent them her home country's PCC when they sent us AOR2 and they have received it as well. They haven't requested anything but I'm just wondering if this will delay anything/
Thanks

In our notes, criminality was started and under that, it said RCMP fingerprints requested, however just like you, we never got any emails asking for that information. So I emailed the VO and 5 days later I got an email requesting the RCMP fingerprints. I am not sure if this is human error, but I suspect it is as that request was dated from the beginning of March supposedly when our status on GCKey changed to Background check is in progress. However, this is the only entry since then, so I am guessing that this might have stalled the processing with our app. I am not sure if they forgot or they just haven't started looking at our app at the VO (it's 3 months later now) even though we got the started processing line on eCAS at the beginning of May.

If your wife didn't live in any one place for more than 6 months she won't need to submit anymore pics. Just wanted to let you know I think our app got stalled by them not sending out the request by email and had it not been for the notes, it probably would be still sitting in the pile and who knows when they will look for it.

oh you are very lucky that your criminality has started! Noting was started on ours, at the beginning of notes in February when they first received they put interview recommended, at the end after they write comments it says interview required and that we were put in queue on May 15.

Interesting about flagging you for an interview. They summarized our relationship in the notes and there was no mention of interview recommended even though our big red flag is a big age difference between my partner and I.

I am happy they started the criminality. However, I am still a little ticked that the request for RCMP fingerprinting was never sent and had we not requested GCMS notes, we would have never known that they were requesting it and I just don't know how much longer that would have stalled our processing. From the beginning, our app has always been the long side of getting to the same stage as some others, which caused me greater anxiety. 5 weeks to get AOR 1 and then 2 months to get the in processing message in eCAS (which really doesn't mean much if they haven't even looked at our file as of June 28 and they supposedly started the file in Mexico on May 4).

This is why I am going to order the notes again in the next week or so. Not sure if they don't flag you for an interview after they summarize the relationship if it will happen at all.

I am going to my MP's office to find out if they will intervene yet. I just want to find out about the interview as I haven't seen partner for close to 7 months so I can figure out if I am going to see him (if there is going to be an interview) or if he is going to come here (no interview).

I sure hope you get the interview date soon. Someone here said after the interview, DM can happen fast.

Its always good to order notes, don't know why but our representative was saying no to ordering notes but I just ordered them anyway, I had my husband's signature on file so I just used that! Hope you get good news soon! If you didn't see anything about an interview in your notes, you are most likely in the clear, they would have noted it right at the beginning. Good luck and thanks for you speedy interview wishes, I really appreciate it. I haven't seen my husband in two years!!! I could go now but I taught summer school and i'm taking an on line course. My exam is on august 10 which would leave me a two week window to go to India before work starts for me. Plus its super hot there, we were hoping he would get his visa this summer. Waiting is difficult. I'm hoping we will get DM quickly after the interview, if all goes well.

Was it the officer at Mississauga who wrote this interview recommended note? Or was it when it arrived at NDVO?

Hi,

I have my mohter in law sponsership case from 2014. Medical , PCC, landing fees are done. I received her notes and it says that Fingerprints required (April 24) but does not say that it has been requested. I was thinking to send an email to New Delhi but I am just afraid that should I ask them that I have seen the notes and it says that you need fingerprints but you have not requested it as they might get offended that why I am checking their work. What did you write to them when you asked them about fingerprints.

It is your right to order GCMS notes. My intention in ordering the notes was not to check on their work, but to simply know what stage they are at in the processing of our application. In my case, I happened to see that RCMP fingerprints were requested (it literally said that in the notes) with a due date that was past in that section. Some members here theorized that some of us had our background checks started in Mississauga and I believe that was what happened in our case as it has been saying our background check has been in progress on GCKey account for the last 5.5 months. However, as the due date passed and we had not received any emails about requests for fingerprints (which I was expecting), I think what happened was that when our file got sent to the VO in Mexico, no one followed up on the finger request. I believe they used to start the background checks at the VO in Mexico, however as they did something new, I believe that the VO didn't follow-up on what was started in Mississauga and so the request never came through. That is why I emailed the VO. I told them I saw in our notes that it stated that the RCMP fingerprints were requested but we never got email correspondences asking for it. I then said to them, if this is something they still wanted, to please send a formal email request to minimize any further delay in the processing of our application. 4 days later, I got an email from the VO requesting the RCMP fingerprint certificate, which I had gotten in May as I was anticipating the request.

If you feel that they want the report (I am not sure of the wording you see in your notes), then I think it is reasonable to email the VO to see if this is something they want. I think if you were asking about your status and how much longer the process will take if it has been less than 12 months, they won't answer you and will get irritated then.
