You are not requesting the info on your own behalf, and you select permanent resident.

Also, select the electronic notes of the officer.

Your spouse will have to fill out imm5744 consent form as well.

Hi

If the PA is outside Canada you must use the Access to Information Act and pay the fee.

I did a Outland application but am currently in Canada on a visitors visa. My husband orderded the gcms in his name as his got PR. we choose privacy act and didnt pay. Will we receive the notes and how will we know if our application for gcms as been successful of not. Is there a way to find out? or we just have to wait for 30days

If you're in Canada your husband can order through the Privacy Act. You still need to provide the consent form IMM5744 because your husband is requesting your information.

You could have ordered them yourself because you're in Canada.

Okay thank you very much. Also I may have made a mistake on the consent form. I signed section A and my husband signed section B and C so considering both issues, I am considering applying for another one and writing in the notes section that this is a replacement for the first one and that they should disregard that one because I dont wanna wait a month only to find out because of my mistake its not been ordered and I have to wait another month.

Will this be acceptable?

I think it is the code for an officer. You will most likely get PPR this week or next week. The officer has to authorize to send PPR.

Under PAPER FILE
Office: Vienna
#: Case number
Location: AS**** (has Counselor name as well)

APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT
Assigned To: CF****
Assigned by: CF****
Due Date: 2016/08/28

I haven't heard anything so far. I keep on sending case enquiry every month and they respond back that app is not finalised yet.

Does it mean it's in final stage?

Finally got my GCMS note that was submitted in August. Looks good I hope.

In July my wife's eligibility assessment status says recommend passed

and the notes for the officer on same date he/she does the eligibility assessment writes the summary of development and length of the relationship.
At the end of the notes the officer comes to the conclusion, 'Appears bona fide. RECOMMEND WAV.'

So now I'm confused. It's been more than 4 months since this 'recommend passed and recommend wav' but my medical says in progress, security and criminality not started.

How long do they usually take because I would assume if the officer recommend pass it shouldn't take more than 4 months or should it?

Hi Guys,

Sorry to be a pest, does anyone a have an insight about this?

1. Is it okay if I ordered another GCMS? and state in the notes section that its in place on the old one
2. Since am sponsoring my wife and my informationis bound to be on the file, dont I need to sign the section B of the consent?
3. If I ordered another note can it not irritate the VO and make my application even longer?

Thanks in advance

I just got my GCMS note yesterday and fired off another GCMS note request today.

What I've heard is that these notes lie independently from the VO's overseas and sit somewhere in Canada.
So the VO's don't even prepare these GCMS notes it all comes from ATIP office.

That's what I gather so it wouldn't be 'pesky.'

. he also said the pa looks uncomfortable in the pictures that we sent.. i dont even understand what that means.. he usually doesnt smile in pictures but thats just him maybe thats why they think he looks uncomfortable idk.. hes not photogenic how can you say he doesnt look comfortable? this confused me so much i sent 70+ pictures of us with family with friends us alone chat logs plane tickets everything..

another thing the office wrote was that it is unusual for our culture to have such a small wedding ceremony..we specifically said in our paper work that we are going to have a bigger ceremony later on but at the moment we are focusing on saving for my husbands settlement in canada

in the end it said schedule interview pls

i dont know what to do its mid november i still havent received a interview date nor have i recieved any type of email from them asking for additional documents .. the note was made sept 22.. what do u guys think?

Hi Eagle,

I just received the GCMS notes. It says Eligibility PASSED and SECURITY has the 15.1 code.
What is left? How long is the wait after this?

Thank you.

If your Meds are still valid for at least 6 months from now and your Criminality says Passed, expect a good news email in few weeks.

ADMISSIBILITIES

SECURITY S.15(1) is right in the corner

SECURITY:1

UCI: 88885555
Family Name: Nelson
Given name: Cool River
Type: SECURITY

If you see this in your GCMS notes rest assured that your security is completely done and protected. Someone will ask me in the future that Eagle here is my timeline do you think that my security is done? If you have your GCMS notes I will just tell you to come back to this page.

This is what Eagle wrote on the first page of this thread and where I got my information. Again for me I noticed it on my first page and did see it throughout my ATIP notes.

Maybe every file is different

If you have Subscription 15 on Security for 7 months, it is very clear that your file is a bit different. 8 out 10 people, once their Security is over, yes it is over. The officer does other things. Could it be your Security was done long time, however there are other investigations that are still going on. I don't know what they are.
