Yes, at least the good ones do.

I called at 9:30am our time. Returned the completed CIC information form to them by 10:30. They called me about a half hour ago and could tell me pretty much everything (with respect to my ATIP request, and general case state).

Turns out, they apparently start the clock when you submit the correct consent form. Until they have that, they don't consider the application complete...

Well at least you have answers. Hope everything is good with your app.

Maybe cic can take notes from Imigrasi Indonesia lol.. went to extend my visa at the local immigration office today. Filled out two forms, gave passport copy, marriage cert copy, my wife's ID, took a photo and my fingerprints and left my passport and went to the beach. An hour later the officer called my wife and said passport ready for pickup.

NICE!

In my case, they told the MP that they are just in the process of Criminality and Security checks on my wife's side of the application. Once that is complete, they tell us that (if passed) then they will have completed the admissibility portion (which in the inland stream is the last step before heading to the local VO for final review and issuance (or interview).

has anyone here ordered gcms notes with a status of voh? I'm planning to order once I land in vancouver. To check this notes. :D So I can check also some patterns that can be helpful to fellow applicants here.

I did ordered gcms note after my wife has landed. It's easier, no need for consent forms because the PA can order for himself and it's free throught the privacy act. The funny thing I found out it's about the processing of eligibility; 1 month for the initial assessment then they wait 6 month for the final assessment then it took 30 minute after that to get PPR.

Mine was the opposite. Interview letter sent 30 mins after eligibility updated to recommend interview

I will be responding to all the questions addressed to me on Thursday all day.

have question about this form. I am going to apply for GCMS notes for myself and my dependent(wife) in my file. I am looking at this form IMM5744E.

On this form, Section A - It says - write your name (so I should my name or it will be my wife's)?

Section B - It says - If you are also seeking info of your spouse so you should write their name ( again whose name has to go here)?

Section c - It says - write your designated individual's contact information ( whose name should be there)?

Also it asks for signature of representative > (who should sign here)?

Please help me with form. As I am confusing it with - should I be person in section a and my spouse info in section B

Section A - Principal Applicant
Section C - Sponsor

Sponsor? My PR application is in process and I added my spouse to it at later stage. There is no sponsor so whose info should go there or leave it blank?

This thread is in the Family Class Sponsorship area of the forum -- so I assumed.

If you are making the request, then have your spouse fill out Section A, then you fill out Section C (assuming there is a Use of a Representative that has been filed). Then you can submit it.

Also the spouse goes in Section B

Sorry there is no use of representative for PR application file.

Section A - my spouse will out
Section b - my spouse will provide my details
Section c - ?

GCMS notes can only be requested by a citizen, PR or someone in Canada. If you are applying for PR and your spouse is accomanying then neither of you are able to apply for the notes which means you need someone to order them for you and they would be the rep.
