They sometimes extend the medical depending on circumstances but I am not sure if they will reply to your inquiry but you can try, they will ask you to redo it if required. I hope you will be approved before your med expires...meanwhile just wait, relax and pray.

I got my gcms note today and in the note it
says...
security not started
criminality not started
medicals passed.
I feel with this i am close to decision made nd
ppr request.
also all officers notes are good.

Did we do this right? Or should i have printed the copy she sent me out..filled in my information (as her husband) in section B then signed it myself? I am requesting on my wifes behalf her GCMS notes. We are looking for HER information...not the other way around. I assumed section B was for both parties if they both needed the information? This is what i submitted along with the 5$ fee...I would hate to find out 30 days from now this form was filled out incorrectly.

Good evening! Eid Mubarak to all our muslim brothers and sisters!

I wanna ask, something, we got our gcsm notes today in

elligibility it says: recommended pass
security : not yet started
criminality: not yet started
medicals: passed

in the notes it also states: initial review: marriage appears valid, id sufficiently established. no eligible deps. nothing to flag at this time. meds pass. no adverse foss record. NBI and other required pols certs clean.

what is deps?
what is foss?
I read on the first page, that recommended pass means,awaiting approval for the lead officer?
Please enlighten me, are we in good hands?

FOSS is the in Canada immigration record check. If PA has never been to Canada it will obviously come up without an adverse record.

Deps I believe is just an abbreviation of dependants.

Yes, recommend pass is a good sign.

Yup its my wife as the primary applicant in section A and myself as the sponsor in section C. phewf sigh of relief...I consider myself quite good at filing paperwork but there is something about how long these situations take..30 days for notes...13 months for applications to finish that make me second guess myself over and over. 1. So after they put status: pass , they will proceed to security check and criminality check? we are both february 2016 applicants.
2. Will they still ask for additional documents? even if they put recommended pass?

I believe the do the assessments concurrently now to speed up processing times.

If you have pass or recommend pass, I don't think they will ask for more relationship proofs.

Hope you get PPR soon.

from ur understanding and experience if in a note medicals passed, criminality not started, security not started and no irrelevant/material found and all notes from officer is ok i mean good nd medicals done on july 24, 2015 nd on note says valid till 29/07/2016, what u think or suggest might happen bcos i felt it expires 24/07/2016 nd cic say valid till 29/07/2016.
your contribution needed, though I would like talk with u in private.
