That's a wise decision. Showing at least CA$100,000 would be ideal. Next time, it will also help to include a detailed itinerary with a well-researched budget.
I think there needed to be more paperwork showed on your side rather than your sister, since you are the one paying for the trip. Also suggest to write a day by day itinerary, maybe school enrollment letter of the kids and anything that proves that you will come back to India after your trip (rent lease, etc).
