Hello everyone I requested gcms notes 1 month ago and I recieved this email from the officer.
Dear .....
This is further to your request under the Access to Information Act, which was received on October 23, 2017, for the following records:
the electronic notes of the immigration or citizenship officer(s) for the permanent residence file concerning .....
We regret to inform you that we are unable to process your request for the following reason:
· We noticed discrepancies between the file number provided (temporary residence) and the type of records you requested (permanent residence). Therefore we require that you confirm which records you would like to receive:
- The information pertaining to the file number mentioned on the request (temporary visa nr), or
- The information regarding the permanent residence file.
Note that we will put your request on hold until we receive the requested information from you. If we have not received your reply by December 20, 2017, we will consider the request abandoned and close our file accordingly.
How should I reply now just by email?anyone has any idea?
