GCMS Notes Page 2 Application Assignment (Due Date)

What is this? On page 2 of GCMS notes, there is a section called Application Assignment, and there is a due date. Does this due date mean that is when the file must be initiated by? If that's the case, then since we applied 15 Jan, the due date is 11 months. Not that it matters as most have been getting it sooner than we did. It seems that only now we have background check in progress, and maybe that's why, the date had finally become due?? They certainly left it to the last minute in our case, within only couple days!

due dates generally don't mean much, so there's really no reason to assume anything. most people have due dates come and go without anything happening.
