Hello,

I got GCMS today.
Eligibility: passed
Security: blank
Criminality: passed
Medical: in progress.

if anybody has any idea about the following points, please provide your insight.

1) My spouse details in the GCMS are all removed. I was told that this is normal as I had not attached a consent from my spouse.
Can I assume that her criminality is also passed because Criminality in page 2 is set passed under ASSESSMENTS?

2) Security is blank. Several members already told me that for "security" reasons, section security is kept blank when generating gcms. Status from my previous gcms had the status Not started. Please confirm that this is normal.

3)In page 2 of gcms I see a section called APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT.
Assigned to: DA01664
Assigned by: JP5777
Due date: 2013/12/01

Is this the due date for finalizing the application? Anybody who received their PPR and GCMS notes after PPR can you please check if PPR was sent before this date?

4) Under MEDICAL: 1, I see the following entries
Type: Medical
Status: Sent
IME status: Received
Reason for closure: From eMed

Does this mean CIC has received my medical results? I dont see any update in ECAS.

Hi eds1275 ,

Are you sure about consent thing ? If yes how can consent be attached while applying GCMS online ?

Just before submission, it will ask if you want to attach anything.

hi eds1275,

*the reason you don't see any updates for ECAS yet for medical is because still in progress, its received but not passed yet.
*the due date is most likely when their decision should be made,so you should expect PPR around that date if everything is fine with your medical, security and RPRF has already been paid.
you are most likely to get PPR this week or next one.

good luck, you are close the final lane :)

So does anyone know, if ecas is updated to "Medicals Received", does that definitely mean they are already passed? Or could they still be in process?
Mine was updated to received on the 14th, but still no word - I am from an exempt country so not expected PPR but still no change to "Decision Made" either :(

You are not alone.

The wait is excruciating! Checking e-mail and ecas has taken over my life Lol

Glad to know I'm not the only one, makes me worry less that something is wrong :)

Good Luck to us all for an end to this torture before the holidays!

No need to worry. I'm sure the delay is because they only started security checks when the meds were done. Then they probably have an assignment date to go back and check. Hopefully we will hear soon.

But yes, checking ecas and e-mail constantly - painfuL!

In my gcms, under security they have removed all info.

Under activity section, I see 3 entries for security : Earliest one says Not started. Other two entries don't have anything in them for status. I see 3 entries for criminality as well: not started, in progress, passed.

So, I'm thinking that missing entries for security are In progress and Passed.

It's normal. They do not give security info - they never have.

What do the detailed notes say at the back?? The ones from the VO's?? These are the ones that really matter! Please share detail !:)

Vo notes say: pa married recently. Tr status maintained. Duties in updated letter correspond to noc. Language requirements met. Qualifies for cec.

It's bit longer than I posted because of personal information. But essentially says eligibility passed.

Anything about ready for visa issuance? Further review required??? Etc etc??

Nothing about review required / ready for visa. Where can I see ready for visa issuance? I just see due date as December 1st on page 2 under application assignment.

If they are finished with the file they usually put ready for visa issuance as a note. So I'm assuming those who are waiting after MR are waiting for security to be completed and reviewed before issuance of visa.

My medical status is only received from emed. Still needs to be reviewed by rmo. Also, I used my wife's medical from trv. I see a note about using her trv Ime #. But I can't really see if her medical is set passed or not.

Ok So do you attach scanned copy of a consent letter here from your spouse??

I really wouldn't be worried re medicals.

If anything is wrong (at all) the MD is required to inform the applicant before submitting results to CIC. So, it would be very very unlikely that the meds would be refused, unless you had and were aware of a really bad pre-existing condition. But even with that, chances are the MD would have made you aware of the consequences.

You will be fine re meds.
