GCMS Notes and Codes

The Coding Kit, is the official list of codes used by CIC in the processing of CAIPS/GCMS files.

The notes entered in the CAIPS/GCMS system by an Immigration officer are in English (may be in French for Quebec immigrants), easy to understand and provide very useful information. However some of the codes used within the CAIPS/GCMS file may be difficult to interpret.

The Coding Kit provides assistance in the interpretation of the file in these circumstances.

Thanks

In the GCMS notes I received, I see 'RFVC done'. I reviewed the coding kit but cant find an explanation for this. Any idea what this means?

For context, my mother has undergone several rounds of medical due to cancer. In the notes I see: something about 'waiver recommended' as I am the only child; I also see the file was forwarded to FC4 CBO. I think FC4 is the parents/grand parents category and CBO is Canada Based Officer.

Thank you in advance.

Not everything is in that "kit". Just a random guess, but maybe "Ready for Visa Clearance" or something.

I got my parents medical file.

What do the following codes mean?

Label: PP Grading

IME: Non EDE

501 / Grading / Classement: B

Appreciate any clarification. Thanks!
