It seems. I do not remember where I saw that they do it the same day as you request them, but in my case I see that on top of each page is written that: 'Request ID:XXXXXX. I finally received my GCMS notes today. My application is in Review Required for "Stat Question" in the 'Client Information' section.
I mentioned this:
"I was refused entry to USA 4 times for flagpoling. The below are the details:
1. XX-XX-2017 - To extend study permit
2. XX-XX-2018 - to renew study permit as passport was renewed.
3. XX-XX-2019 - to get work permit, could not get as was very late to the border
4. XX-XX-2019 - to get work permit, and reached early in morning and was able to receive work permit."
The ending notes on this state: "CIO RECOMMENDATION FOR PA: PASS CRIMINALITY".
However, my file has not been touched since end of Nov-2019 and is in RR. I do see a note that it has been passed to another analyst and end date for his analysis is 1-Jun-2020.
Do you think I need to send any clarifications for these flagpolings I did? I don't have any entry/exit denial stamps on my passport from US or Canada.
@legalfalcon : sir can you suggest something? I will be very grateful to your inputs.

The above image seems to show that next review is to complete by 1-June, but due to corona I am not sure.
By the way the criminality was passed as informed by call centre back in february.

The other 250 pages seem to have nothing worth, just repeating the same info on several pages..
Also, I didn't provide a consent form from my wife for gcms, hence all info from my wife and children was removed by them already.

I received my notes on May 8th,exactly one month, I requested for it.
My eligibility n security status says: not started assessment yet. After 10months of submission.

Unfortunately you can not order yourself but if you know any Canadian in the US where you are or anywhere else; they can help you out. You also see a sample file as well at sample.gcmsnotes.com
I submitted mine on 03/16 and finally got it last Friday on 05/29... Yours may be coming soon!
