i start to dig in the GCMS notes as well; i didn't go into it deeper so i'm sure i'll come back with some questions too; for us at counterfoil says NO; i think if the applicant would b from a visa exempt country it would say YES; which means that since s/he is visa exempt there is no need to attach the visa in the passport and no need of other procedures; if s/he is not visa exempt than the extra procedures need to take place, the passport needs to b valid, the visa will b in it (no counterfoil ;)) either yes or no, nothing to worry about

no here is the question for u ;) there r lots of sections there some with 0 some with 1 (and then written not started); my guess is the ones with 0 r the ones which will not b done at all, and the ones with 1 r the ones which have to b done (and then they will b in progress, complete, so on); am i close?

and i think TFR means something else ::) need to do some more research

thaaaank u :) but loool i'm confused if it's passed then how come inside each one with 1 it's written "not started" i think in some cases is passed but in others could just simply mean it's required
but i really don't know ::) ::) my brain is in a storm :P

I have a feeling that 1 means required. I have other fields as 0, all of them are non-relevant to family class, so that's why I think 1 indicates the field required processing.
I am really curious about the due date though. It's now two month after that date for us!

I believe if they send your file to VO then this has been started and passed.
Regarding 1, 0 or empty I think it depends on the section.
approximatley when did you order GCMS in comparison to the due date!

They printed the notes roughly 3 weeks after that due date, which was two months ago!
I hope it means pass, but at the same time, we don't have any notes on our file, so I have this nagging feeling nothing has happened on our file yet. :(

I'm sure the file is in VO, since there is a B number in the notes (paper file #). The location is indicated as Ankara. I hope this means they have sent it there!

This page in the Jamaica thread might be helpful:

Also, I think the number 1, 0, etc is related to how many instances are required. I found a thread in FSW that for a family of 3, the number for security and criminality checks were 2. Made sense to me, since they were two adults and a kid.

Still not clear on the eligibility due date though.
