Congratulations on your acceptance to George Brown College and it was nice talking to you this evening!
To better prepare you for your arrival in Toronto and to the College we will be delivering an online Pre-Departure Orientation to be held on Monday, December 19, 2012 at 7:00 pm (India Standard Time).
The session will be an approximately one and a half hour webinar to share information that George Brown College hopes will be of use to you as you prepare for your studies in Canada. I think that you will find the session very valuable - we will cover information on:
• George Brown College, the City of Toronto, and some of the things that you can expect when you arrive in Canada
• The Canadian academic system and some of the differences you may encounter as compared to previous educational experiences
• Important information on your arrival in Canada, budgeting and finances
• Canadian culture and tips that might help you settle into George Brown College and Canada more quickly and easily.
