Gave my fingerprints on 17 March, but still no update in the portal

I gave my fingerprints on 17th March, and the portal still says "waiting from you" under the section fingerprint submission.

What can I do?

I submitted FP on 12th March. Still waiting for BGC to be completed

Nothing much we can do except for waiting

Did you get an update in your CIC - Application History - stating that IRCC has received your FP and will review them?

No, I don't have any update with regards to my fingerprints in my application history.

Similar story here, waiting for any kind of update from IRCC. I heard from friends that it takes 1 week for RCMP to complete the Criminal Record Check and 3 weeks for IRCC to work on that information.

So you also don't have anything on application history?
When did you give fingerprints?

Background verification
We sent you a letter or email with instructions to submit your fingerprints.

I submitted my FP on 1st April, 2022

I am still waiting for an acknowledgment that they have received my FP

It wont happen for atleast a month or longer depending on the office processing your application. The FP's will go to Vancouver office and they send communication to your local office about the status of FPs. Only after this step you will see FP received and BG completed. Hang in there for a bit longer.

yeah.. being patient. But when I hear FP status being updated in a shorter duration than mine, it gets me worrying

If you are so concerned you may check with RCMP with the DCN number provided after fingerprints.

Gave FP on March 14, had a ghost update on Apr 11, since then nothing...

If you are so concerned you may check with RCMP with the DCN number provided after fingerprints.

Took your advice and called RCMP.

• April 1 - Received the submission
• April 11 - Processing completed and sent to IRCC Vancouver

The agent told that this will take about a weeks time to reflect in IRCC.

Concluding that IRCC should have the information and haven't started working on it yet.

Concluding that IRCC should have the information and haven't started working on it yet.

In my case I called RCMP on 8th Apr, they said that they mailed the results to IRCC on 28th March which should have been received by IRCC early last week and IRCC will update the tracker shortly.. Till today no update.

Check your tracker, FP should hopefully have been updated for you as well..
