Today the Consulate General of Canada has received the Proof of citizenship request for my three kids.

So that will start the clock on this part. It is supposed to take five months (per the CIC website). Hopefully I will get my letter of acknowledgement soon.

My doctors appointment is next month, the FBI request is someplace in the nether. Once all three comes in I can send in the packet for sponsorship and PR.

The 'proof of citizenship' for your kids is exclusive of your 'sponsorship and PR' application. Don't wait for that to come in before sending in your 'spousal application'.

Just a recommendation - delay that dr. appt until the application is ready. (Unless your DMP has long wait times.)

The medicals are only valid for 1 year! Sometimes CIC extends the medical, sometimes they don't. It's best to have them as close together.
