Hello,

I wanted to ask does it matter to have gap years?

After my A'Levels I had 1 year gap for my undergrad.

I graduated with my bachelors degree on Jun'2021, and since then I'm working in my own startup - technically since my graduation I'm self-employed.

Is working in my startup counted as gap year? If yes, will it have any bad impact on my visa application.

I had gap year of 5 years before bachelors and another 3 years before masters. Got my study permit, no issues. Now I am done with studies +I got PR

I'm 42 years old, work as a senior software engineer in Kuwait.

The last official education I had is a Bachelor of communication engineering from Egypt, in 2002,
I'm asking, with this long gap, can I get a study permit to study ( diploma for 1 or 2 years ) for the purpose to get PR?
I have 4 children and we all live in Kuwait.

I'm waiting for my IELTS results to apply for Express Entry,
I contacted some immigration consultancy companies, and they replied that education is the best option for me.
