Gap between old passport and new passport!!

My old passport expired in June 2013 and the new passport was issued in September 2013. Wile reviewing my citizenship application, the settlement consultant advised to enclose a letter clarifying why there is a gap!!!

He said they might return my application because of the gap!! a gap means that I have another passport!!

I had a gap like this. I just wrote in the explanation portion of the question. I was in Canada, waiting for a new passport, and didn't leave the country. I got AOR today. So that should be good enough.

Country of issue is Pakistan. They issued it in Canada, but it was the Pakistani Government that issued it to you. Unless the question says Location of issuance, which I don't think it does.

if you were unemployed during your eligibility period, than in question 11 what you should write in occupation, name of contact email and address?

Write an explanation letter, simple stuff and don't overcomplicate. We included one just saying we were inbetween moves and didn't have time to get it done, as counsalate was in another city.
