FYI for those waiting - Got passport back from Buffalo in 2 weeks

The entire process for me was less than 3 months - I sent package to CPC-M on June 12 (according to Canada Post it was received on June 15) and got my passport back today (Sept 2). I think it took me longer than that to pull the application together!!

lol. Same here. Took 4 months to put everything together, only took CIC 3 months to get me my visa. Consider yourself lucky, a lot of people have to wait a loooong time.

Thank you!! Your post brings me a lot of hope. I will be applying in February, we have to wait to get our marriage certificate (we're getting married in October!) I hope my application goes as quickly as yours. Congrats!!!!
