FY 2018 - tax filed should be Yes or No?

Hi folks,

I am submitting my application tomorrow. Just wanted to confirm one thing for the tax filed section.
I have entered 2018 and mentioned Tax Filed as Yes. though technically I have not filed the tax yet, will file it in April.
Is this right? or should I just emit 2018 and start with 2017?

I submitted ours last Friday and I started with 2017 since 2018 is not due yet.
Hope it helps.
Also, take a look at the version you used for the application, there is a new one CIT 0002( 01-2019) so, make sure you use the newest version of the form.

No. Only state what has actually been filed. You don't know for certain that you will be able to file 2018 until you have done it.

Tax Return filing starts February 19, 2019.
It doesn’t hurt to add 2018 since you will be filing your tax return this year.
By the time IRCC starts processing your application, Tax Return will be likely over.
So it’s safe to enter 2018

2018 Tax filed: No

I will be filing my tax as soon as I get T4. I hope they don’t return my application on this base.
