Funds to match on Landing with PR application

Hi,

I had declared about CAD 24000 in my Express Entry application.

Now on landing i am planning to take CAD 30000 ie i am taking more than i had shown in my PR application...

Can this mismatch create a problem for me at the airport?

Kindly advise...

As long as you have the amount required by CIC for your family size you are good, you don't have to match what was on the application. & ofcourse you have to declare the funds.

From my personal experience, the more funds you posses the better, settlement is not an easy process and the savings would give you the piece of mind during your job search.
