Funds return

My EE application was deemed incomplete, and CIC sent me a letter saying that the funds that i paid will be returned to me. How and when am i supposed to see the return? I paid with my Canadian credit card.

I'm very sorry to hear about that. Yes the money will be refunded to your credit card within 30 days. Do you mind telling the reason for your application being incomplete?

Yes, they returned it because of passport issues. I have a new passport, i have just received it, it has no stamps at all, all of my stamps and visas are in my old one. The EE instructions say to provide scans of my Current/Valid passport, so that's what i did, and they returned it, wrote that's it's incomplete, missing passport scans, cancelled the whole thing. Guess i should of upload scans of the old one as well...

yep, already got another ITA. This time i'm taking a lawyer to go over my documents before submitting

Hi, in your EE profile, did you supply your new passport number or old passport number?

on your new passport, is there a reference to your old passport such as your old passport number?

Lastly, did the letter specifically state that your application was deemed incomplete because you used your new passport?

You could raise up a Case Specific request.
