Funds required for PNP- urgent help needed

Hi .. as per express entry.. family of 3 needs funds of cad 18k plus. We r manitoba nominee and when we applied for pnp the website says 10k for main app and 2k for each member. I visited the website again after i saw the new requirements of express entry, the mpnp site still quotes the same.
I am confused. I am flying next week and now cant decide how much funds to carry to show the officer.

You should carry at least 14000 CAD as per MPNP site to support the 3 of you in Canada. If you can showcase more than 18000 CAD, no harm done. If you can't, show the evidence of the MPNP site to the officer if you are questioned about funds to justify your decision.
