hy dear all
all this while i have been been here reading the posts , the queries and replies ... I found a sea of info here
lets see how much do we get on this one..
it is about funds .. a crucial and baffling thing while filling up forms n applying for a study permit..(hope u all agree)

There are posts where some say 'show as much as u can' ....hmmm
others say 'GIC + first yr fee paid + some more money in the account.... say 3000 cad - 5000 cad'.. (agreed)
{and moreover I read it somewhere tht one does not need to show bank statements n ITRs in case of GIC}

now my question is how do we prove the genuineness of funds.. if we dont show some bank statement or ITR or documentary proof?
I may boast of any sum of 'some more money in the account' ...
please lend ur views on this ....

thanks

Guys,

I have got conditional admission in Concordia University Sep '13 intake. I am still doing my last sem of B.Tech degree and my exams end only on May 17th, so now I'm confused when to approach the banks for loans. Should I wait till i get the results and mark sheets on hand(I presume it might take about a month after I finish my exams) or can I apply for loan with my conditional LOA? Guys please help

visa officer just want to see at least first year tuition fees+GIC/loan that;s it.....other fund doesn't matter.

Now regarding ITR,ITRs are not required under SPP or university category as per vfs checklist.

As far as I know conditional offer letter will do but then banks may ask for marksheets.just inquire with bank.
