Hey man sounds good enough, I got my visa last year and now I am living in Canada and when i filled my application i just showed funds of 12 lakhs and my brothers salary slip and I got the visa, but that was under SPP category but I hope that with your funds you should not be rejected on the grounds of insufficient funds....Make sure your documents are correct and your IELTS is good.. And please fill out the application form yourself, i was delayed because my agent didnt filled it up correctly.

Hi,

I applied as a general candidate and showed my own PF as 50% of the amount required, and received the visa without an interview in 2 weeks.

You have to show funds according to a formula: First year tuition fees + living expense + airfare. The tuition fees and living expense are mentioned in your offer letter.

It's more than enough........Just you have to get an affidavit from your parents like they are willing to bear the expenses for your studies .....Since you're showing your parents account as well....All the best....

You get a call for medical report after submitting file. You cannot apply with medical results in General category.

However, sometimes the duration of general application processing is extremely fast and similar to SPP.

I received a medical call in just 5 days after submitting my application, and got visa in another week after that. It was new Delhi CHC.

Hey, You should definately try to apply in one of the universities or colleges in Canada, if you get a approval letter from them than the visa officers generally dont care if your university is not UGC approved or not, all they care is that your documents are genuine, your IELTS score are good and your application is correct and most importantly you have a letter of acceptance from a Canadian college, In this case you should be fine..
